What we collect

• Account: your phone number, display name, date of birth (to confirm you're 18+), and your consent choices.
• Activity: favorites, reviews and reports you submit.
• Location: only when you use "Near me," and only while the app is open. We use it to sort nearby venues and don't store your location history.
• Device: a random device identifier used to keep you signed in, and, if you allow it, a push notification token.

How we use it

To run the directory, sign you in, show your reviews under your display name, prevent abuse, and send the messages you've agreed to. We don't sell your personal information and we don't show your phone number or date of birth to anyone.

What others can see

Reviews you post are public along with your display name. Your favorites are private.

Service providers

We use hosting (Amazon Web Services) and SMS delivery (Twilio) providers who process data only on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

Delete your account from the app's Account screen and we delete your profile, favorites, reviews and consent records. Some records may be kept briefly in backups or where the law requires it.

Children

Twerx is only for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Email privacy@twerx.app.
